Randy was great to call me back very quickly when I left a voicemail to provide payment for move in to my unit. Even though I am 2.5 hours away and my son is using the storage unit for his dorm room items, the process was easy and seamless to set up. If I could give this place a 0/5 I would. Their lack of customer service is absurd. I think upper management feels if they don’t respond to an issue it will just go away. Their prices have continued to go up, and I’m sure they will say it’s because everything else is going up. In the beginning I was offered a military discount, then it suddenly went away because I wasn’t an active duty member, even though I’m a disabled Veteran. I have been waiting in correspondence from upper management and it honestly is just comical their total lack of customer service, I would suggest people go else ever.

Just rented my second unit in preparation for household move. I’ve had no negative issues since getting first unit. Place is secure, clean, well kept facility. Made a call to customer service to inquire about their protection plan and all my questions were answered in matter of minutes. Couldn’t be happier with the facility and service.

The manager at this location was top notch: friendly, informative, and efficient! The temp controlled storage unit building is very secure, clean, and easy to navigate. The rates are very reasonable given the amount of space. We will likely use My Extra Closet for a long time, going forward, and will recommend it to friends and family. Definitely a safe choice!

Got to the office 30 minutes before closing on Saturday afternoon to rent a unit and the office was closed, no answer on the phone either.Now the regional manager is harassing me on my phone over this review. IDC if your dude was "doing what he was supposed to be doing" at a *different* location. No one was there and no one answered phone calls. If you don't have enough people to staff your offices, hire another person or don't have open office hours posted.

Easy & smooth transaction to purchase the unit online on the website. Great customer service! I called & purchased the lock over the phone, it was a smooth transaction & he even offered to put the lock in our storage unit himself, so that it would be there after I got off work which was a big help! The prices are very reasonable considering some of the other storage units around. Would definitely recommend to anybody!

Not The people. Their Policies!1. Administrative cost of $10.00, really? For doing your job? This is what America and greed has come to.2. Having our own homeowners insurance? Yes, of course. My homeowners insurance policy covers any loss and or damage to anything I own. This company should have enough insurance to cover their customers liabilities.3. Move out 2 days after payment is due....no pro-ration? Again, really? That means you can rent my already paid space to another customer? That's wrong as two left shoes.4. Did not have a lock on us at the time, we were t storing anything that moment; had to purchase their lock. Again, really?5. I would give a stern warning to anyone on asking about this business and their practices.

I just needed a storage unit for a month and the process was very easy and the lady that helped me was so helpful and kind. We were moving from two houses to one and that means a lot of extra junk that needs to be stored just for a short time. The units were in a good location, security was top notch, and wide aisles made it easy for a U-Haul truck, car trailer, or anything of that sort to get through without any difficulty. Would definitely rent from them again should the need arise.
