Canceled the unit I rented before I moved in 3 weeks ago. I still have not received a refund of the 2 months I paid in advance plus the insurance and other charges. These people are theives they still have not returned my money 3 weeks later

I reserved and paid for a storage in Starkville MS through the customer service however, as it turns out there is a much closer to my home 30 miles away. The problem is I am ill and could not get anyone on the phone for the storage facility in my town and my daughter and son in law were coming into town to help me so I booked the storage on the phone. I called the customer service the very next day to cancel she sent an escalation notice to the manager in Starkville 4 days ago and the unit has still not been canceled so I am wondering if I going to give me refund or try to come up with a reason to try to keep my money???

Customer service is great, but the units themselves could use work. The store manager Yolanda is very kind and responded to my emails within a few hours at the longest, very prompt and professional. I did get a 5x10 that was not temp controlled, and upon arriving there were spiders throughout the unit. Had to get some serious pesticide to get rid of them and keep them out.

I used your extra closet for 2 1/2 months. Pretty expensive but not a lot of options in town. Our gate code always had malfunctions and didn’t work pretty much every time we went. I’m only leaving a review because we paid for a medium sized air-conditioned unit and were given 3072. I just feel like we got unlucky and screwed because ours had the small door instead of the larger door for loading furniture. And our building never was cooled off because the door to the building didn’t close all the way. I originally thought they just barely ran the AC —until I stepped in the other building that holds AC 3000 units. That door shuts properly and it was a breath of fresh air when you walked into it. It was actually cooled off and felt great. If we weren’t staying for just two months, I would’ve definitely asked to switch units because that’s how different the two buildings were so I just wanted to leave my review in case anybody is placed in the building that is not air conditioned properly

Yolanda would get a 5 start rating and was very helpful when we arrived and discover we needed a bigger unit and made switching over an easy experience. For some unknown reason the payment system would not accept payment from my card even though we checked that all info was correct. She allowed us to pay the difference at a later time. The online reservation system for reserving a unit is not very user friendly. It wasn’t user friendly when tying to go online a couple of days later to pay that outstanding balance for the bigger unit. Online issues are why I could not give a 5 star rating for entire experience.

I have had two storage units there and both experiences were very good. This latest time, my storage had a lot of spiders in it on one side when I moved out, but it happens. The customer service was excellent. She was always very nice and compassionate.

I was only with this facility for 14 months and they went up on my rental rate twice, from $80 something to over $150. $11 of that was for $2000 insurance only when I had to throw out pretty much ALL of my furniture plus a lot of other stuff due to my things smelling like urine from a rat infestation they tell me I'm only entitled to $500 of it because it was rodents and not a flood that ruined my things. So because it was THEIR FAULT and God's, I'm only entitled to a quarter of the payout I've been paying for. If I can post photos here, I will. This is the unit on 182 labeled as campus. Please do not rent there, or any with this company, if this is how they do business.If I could lower this score to a negative number, ESPECIALLY after this man just called me, supposedly in concern for my low score, I would. After he didn't get the response he wanted after telling me to keep calling to get these people to do the right thing, instead of him offering to do it himself, AND arguing with me about whether or not they have pest control (how is my furniture COMPLETELY destroyed if they did) he was so rude, talking over me and not listening to me. I had to remind him that he called me but now you aren't listening to me. SMH PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE IF YOU CAN HELP IT!Just realize I can post photos. Sorry. They are disgusting! Added some to show proof that I had to burn my furniture!

Overall a breeze and easy setup! The only issue I had was as I went to our storage unit location to get access to the unit, there was no one at the office. It was the middle of the day and it was locked, no sign on the door stating return, I called the locations number and no voicemail stating return. So I went to a different location to get access to my unit at first location.

Having left Starkville for the summer, I knew I needed a place to store some of my items. Seeing as I was looking for a storage unit that was well priced and in a decent area, I was happy to have found you guys. Not only was it super convenient since it was right next to campus, it also was in a safe area and it prevent water from reaching in. The only issue I have is that there is no way to cancel the unit online. That being said, a day after I had moved out, I got a message asking if I left and after responding, they went ahead and cancelled the unit in my place.

They have taken over a dozen of storages in starkville ms,since then,you can never get anyone on the phone when there's an issue, and when u do,they don't know anything to help you,they have increased there price over half of the price you pay for a storage build,and it's redulcous,I wish they had not bought out these storages, things were much better before

I was so excited that they reached out back to me to let me know the details, dimensions, what the payment plan options and other options for a storage unit. Malven walked me through everything where I had to do docusign through my email he even offered to put a lock on my storage shed and gave me the hours and times of operation. The process was very smooth and seem less and it took less than 15 minutes.
